Chuck joined the company's board of directors in February 2016. Chuck is a resident of Prince George British Columbia and a leader in the business community there and, inter alia, in the mineral exploration patch in BC . As president of a prominent drilling company operating out of Prince George British Columbia, Chuck brings his considerable expertise to the company enhancing its exploration programs throughout British Columbia and keeping the company visible to those involved in mineral exploration. Chuck's business guidance adds industry specific expertise to the company's management team.
Tyrone was President and Chief Executive Officer of Quinto Mining Inc. from 1997 until July 2008. He was responsible for day to day operations including both public and private financing, acquiring various mineral properties, negotiating joint ventures and option agreements and overseeing exploration programs.
Under his guidance Quinto Mining acquired a number of exciting mineral properties including Lac Gueret and Peppler Lake . Tyrone raised in excess of 30 million dollars for Quinto .
Tyrone negotiated and completed the merger of Quinto with Consolidated Thompson Iron Mines Ltd. taking Quinto from a market capitalization of $5,000,000 to a valuation for the purposes of the merger of $175,000,000 at the time the deal was concluded.
Under his management, Quinto assembled a strong mining team.
Mr. Docherty became CEO of Golden Odyssey Mining Inc. in 2009 and under his direction the company acquired an option to acquire an interest in the Deer Horn mineral claims from Guardsmen Resources Inc. over the past 3 years Mr. Docherty managed the change of name of GOE to Deer Horn Metals Inc. He successfully caused the company to raise in excess of $4,000,000, which funding has been applied by DHM to the successful exploration of the Deer Horn mineral claims situated just kilometers south of the Huckleberry Mine south of Smithers, BC.
Mr. Docherty sits on the boards of several public resource related companies as well as having interests in investment banking operations.
Mr. Beadle is a successful real estate property development business whose primary focus is Vancouver Island.
Mr. Beadle has enjoyed a long and successful career as a developer in the Victoria and Westshore area and brings a well-recognized and respected reputation to his projects. Bill’s past projects include the construction of the Gorge Point Pub and the 112 unit condominium development alongside the Gorge Water Way, a 30+ unit commercial office building in Victoria, an 11 unit townhouse development in Saanich as well as a six property residential development in the Blenkinsop area. Bill’s most recent residential development, Sentinel Ridge, is a 57 lot estate community located in Mill Bay overlooking the Saanich Inlet, Brentwood Bay and Salt Spring Island. Along with these developments, Bill also built the Monkey Tree Pub in Saanich, the Oxford Arms Pub (formerly The Flying Beagle) in James Bay, the Six Mile Liquor Store in Colwood and the Station House Pub and Goldstream Station commercial/retail mall in Langford. Bill’s reputation for uncompromised quality in all his projects is well-earned and the Metro / Lotus project reflects this standard for excellence to the highest degree.
Douglas Sarkissian B.Comm, LL.B., President
Mr. Sarkissian worked with Wood Gundy out of Toronto and Calgary and subsequently was involved with a publicly traded mining company that developed a property near Helena Montana. His experience included association with underground development of a lead silver zinc deposit, establishing a mill and concentrator and delivery of concentrates to Asarco in Helena. Subsequently he obtained his law degree and practiced with Swinton and Company in the securities department in Vancouver before entering private legal practice, in which he continues to be engaged. His practice areas have included corporate, securities, involvement with junior publicly traded companies, estate and personal injury litigation as well as intellectual property. He is a shareholder of and actively engaged in directing Guardsmen as it furthers its business plan. He has been involved in mineral exploration and public company management since 1985.
Ms. Healy is widow of Scott Gifford and representative of her significant shareholdings in the Company as well as having been involved with the Company and predecessor.
