Scott Gifford, President, CEO (Scott passed away July 30 2018, refer to Arbutus Funeral Home Langley for obituary and related information)
Mr. Gifford is President and Director of the company as well as Guardsmen Resources Inc. His experience in primary exploration for base and precious minerals extends over the past 27 years and geographically from Costa Rica, Guatemala, the Dominican Republic, United States and for the past 15 years, British Columbia. He has been primarily responsible for developing the PPM mining and exploration camp. He has worked closely with many well known exploration professionals in acquiring and developing properties in British Columbia. He has taken properties owned by Guardsmen through the process of being valued and vended into public companies in exchange for shares, NSRs and exploration management implementation. Mr. Gifford is extremely knowledgeable in the intricacies of the mineral tenure in British Columbia and, as an outdoor focused person he gives PPM sensitivity to both the environmental and first nations concerns that are crucial to successful mineral exploration and development of the PPM Lawyers Mineral Claims. He has held directorships with Deer Horn Metals Inc., Christopher James Gold Corp., Bishop Gold Corp. and involvement in other corporate entities.
Douglas Sarkissian B.Comm, LL.B., Executive Vice President
Mr. Sarkissian worked with Wood Gundy out of Toronto and Calgary and subsequently was involved with a publicly traded mining company that developed a property near Helena Montana. His experience included association with underground development of a lead silver zinc deposit, establishing a mill and concentrator and delivery of concentrates to Asarco in Helena. Subsequently he obtained his law degree and practised with Swinton and Company in Vancouver before entering private legal practise in which he continues to be engaged. His practise areas have included corporate, securities, involvement with junior publicly traded companies, estate and personal injury litigation as well as intellectual property. He is a shareholder of and is engaged in directing PPM as it furthers its business plan.
Catherine Economou, Financial Management
Ms. Economou advises and performs financial controller services for PPM Phoenix Precious Metal Corp., Guardsmen Resources Inc. and Mountainside Exploration Management Inc. in addition to other mineral exploration and production companies. She has in excess of 15 years experience successfully assisting in the implementation of and accounting for corporations involved in mineral exploration, oil and gas as well as other privately run corporations in various industries and charitable organizations. Her lengthy experience and attention to detail are essential to the successful exploration and development of PPM's mineral properties.
Robert Lane P.Geo. M.Sc., Geological Advisor
Mr. Lane is president of Plateau Minerals Corp. operating a consulting service out of his Prince George, British Columbia offices. Mr. Lane was fomerly Inspector of Mines in Northern British Columbia until he entered private practise some 4 years ago. His expertise and reputation in all aspects of successful exploraiton and development of mineral properties in Northern British Columbia spans in excess of 27 years. He was instrumental in the decision to reopen the Cliff Creek mine.
